About me
Manuel Mora
Landscape Photographer — Seville, Spain
I am a landscape photographer based in Seville, Spain. Since I was a teenager, I have felt a deep passion for both photography and nature — two interests that have shaped who I am and naturally led me toward landscape photography.
My interest in photography began during my adolescence. Nothing introduced me to it directly, but I grew up surrounded by family photo albums that always drew my attention. I often saw my dad's camera — an Olympus OM-2 he bought in the 80s — lying around my home. That camera helped awaken something in me. Today I keep it as a treasure, and I still shoot with it from time to time because it works beautifully and carries a lot of personal meaning.
Although it may seem that photography is just about pressing a button, to me it is about everything that surrounds that moment. A photograph begins long before the shutter clicks: in the idea of a new adventure, in imagining a composition, in reading the light, and above all, in the feelings you experience when you are out there in the landscape.
I am inspired by the beauty of our planet, and that is exactly what I want to capture with my photographs.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and explore my work. I hope my photographs bring you calm, inspiration, and a renewed desire to reconnect with the natural world.
Gear I shoot with
I shoot with a Sony Alpha system paired with a selection of prime and zoom lenses. For tripod work I rely on a carbon fibre travel tripod that goes everywhere with me.
